Hello and Welcome to Delicious Seasons. I am owner and chef Letita Harris. I am a native Houstonian that inspires to deliver food to the soul.
As a young girl being raised by my Devoted mother and grandmother, cooking was inspirational to me. My mother raised nine children working two jobs and never complained. This taught us that anything you work hard for you can achieve and all dreams are possible. Several of my siblings and I have grown into entrepreneurs. I remember being in the kitchen with my mother on birthdays, holidays, and events that she herself would cater to. As a little girl, I would sometimes dread chopping vegetables and baking pies. But once I became a mother myself I began to love cooking and preparing dinner for my own children. I found excitement in expanding their pallets for fine cuisine and exotic foods. This became my ultimate passion. I began to see why I loved cooking so much, watching family and friends get full and brag about how great my cooking made them feel. Finding myself I researched my name and found that it meant one who brings joy. At that moment I knew it was my calling. I have catered many events for the past eight years but now I will soon open a restaurant. I want to provide food to help other families serve and provide hearty cooked meals for their own families.
